Windsor Court Assisted Living, Palm Springs, Announces Hire of Maureen McDaniels, R. N. as Director of Nursing
Palm Springs, California - Windsor Court Assisted Living, Palm Springs is proud to announce the hire of Maureen McDaniels, R. N. as its Director of Nursing. Mrs. McDaniels has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and 15 years of medical surgical nursing experience. She was named the “Nurse Manager of the Year” in 1993 from Matagorda General Hospital in Bay City, Texas. She has worked as a volunteer Ombudsman for the State of Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
Mrs. McDaniels has worked in assisted living since 2008. Her duties at Windsor Court include all resident care and staff training. Windsor Court Assisted Living has been in the service of care of the elderly for 32 years. The facility is licensed by the Department of Social Services for 150 residents including 33 in the secured Alzheimer’s unit and 25 hospice residents. Windsor is the only facility in Palm Springs offering a swimming pool with a handicap lift to accommodate residents with disabilities.
