Windsor Care Centers participate in National Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, focusing on the importance of acting lawfully and ethically
Los Angeles, CA - November 18, 2020 - Windsor care centers (“Windsor”) across California and Arizona announced their participation in this year’s Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week. The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association (SCCE & HCCA) organized the annual event, which was scheduled this year from November 9 through November 13, 2020. This is the fourth year that Windsor participated.
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is an extension of Windsor’s ongoing compliance and ethics program, which is overseen by Marissa Kirby, Compliance Director at S&F Management Company, LLC, a healthcare consulting company.
As a part of its efforts, Windsor celebrated Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week a bit differently this year to ensure that protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 remain in place. The Compliance Committee decided on a Jungle Theme. Each Compliance Liaison received a safari hat identifying them as the Compliance Liaison. A Compliance Safari Map was given to each employee to identify areas that support and/or violate the company’s Compliance Program. Items, such as prepackaged animal crackers, were given to employees when they submitted their completed Compliance Safari Map.
“Windsor is pleased to participate in Compliance and Ethics Week as it builds awareness, reinforces rules and regulations, and promotes an overall culture of compliance,” says Josh Sable, Esq., General Counsel for Windsor Care Centers.
Company-wide compliance and ethics education, held upon hire, and at a minimum annually, provides the opportunity to roll-out new and updated compliance and ethics program policies and reinforces an employee’s compliance and ethics obligations. Participation in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week gives an additional opportunity to shine a spotlight on the importance of compliance and ethics and boost compliance culture.
