Windsor Care Centers Participate in Indeed’s ‘Virtual Hiring Tour’

September 16, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Windsor Care Centers (“Windsor”), a family of 39 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers located throughout California and Arizona, announced today it will participate in Indeed’s free Virtual Hiring Tour program in an effort to fill various job openings throughout their chain.  

Indeed, the world’s number one job site, recently announced the launch of a Virtual Hiring Tour across the United States, with an overall goal of getting 20,000 people hired. The Virtual Hiring Tour consists of a series of virtual Indeed Hiring Events which use Indeed’s proprietary video interviewing technology to remove technical hurdles and speed up the interviewing timeline.

Windsor is hosting a Virtual Hiring event September 15th – September 18th across all its regions: Northern California, the Bay Area, Central Valley, LA County, San Diego County, Inland Empire, and Arizona.

Eight Windsor Care Centers Awarded AHCA/NCAL 2020 Bronze National Quality Award

September 14, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA –Eight Windsor skilled nursing, assisted living and rehabilitation centers throughout California announced that they have received the 2020 Bronze - Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

Implemented in 1996, the National Quality Award Program was created to recognize long-term care and post-acute providers across the nation that have demonstrated a commitment to providing and improving the quality of care for their residents.

The eight Windsor facilities that received the award are:

  3. Windsor Care Center of Fullerton
  4. Windsor Hampton Care Center
  5. Windsor Gardens Convalescent Hospital of Los Angeles

The award program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Providers begin the quality improvement process at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile with fundamental performance elements such as vision and mission statements and key strengths and challenges. Bronze applicants must also demonstrate their ability to implement a performance improvement system.

As recipients of this year’s Bronze award, each facility can now advance to meet the criteria required for the Silver - Achievement in Quality Award.

Windsor Gardens Care Center of Hayward Awarded AHCA/NCAL 2020 Silver National Quality Award

September 2, 2020 – Hayward, CA  - Windsor Gardens Care Center of Hayward, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Hayward, California, announced today they have earned the 2019 Silver - Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

The Silver Quality Award is the second highest distinction possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program.  The program was created to recognize long-term care and post-acute providers across the nation that have demonstrated a commitment to providing and improving the quality of care for their residents.

Based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program challenges member providers to achieve performance excellence through three progressive levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The Silver level, which is awarded to only the top .5% performers, represents members that develop and demonstrate effective approaches that help improve performance and health care outcomes.
