3 Arizona Windsor facilities receive the 2018 Bronze – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
July 25, 2018 – Phoenix, AZ – Three Windsor skilled nursing, assisted living and rehabilitation centers in Arizona announced that they have received the 2018 Bronze – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
Implemented in 1996, the National Quality Award Program was created to recognize long-term care and post-acute providers across the nation that have demonstrated a commitment to providing and improving the quality of care for their residents.
The three Windsor facilities that received the award are:
- Encanto Palms Assisted Living in Phoenix, AZ
- Maryland Gardens Assisted Living in Phoenix, AZ
- Palm Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center in Goodyear, AZ
“We are so proud of Encanto Palms, Maryland Gardens and Palm Valley for achieving this prestigious award,” says Jeron Walker, Southern California and Arizona Regional Director of Operations for Windsor. “This a true reflection of the amazing care provided each and every day by a team of world-class caregivers.
The award program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Providers begin the quality improvement process at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile with fundamental performance elements such as vision and mission statements and key strengths and challenges. Bronze applicants must also demonstrate their ability to implement a performance improvement system.
As recipients of this year’s Bronze award, each facility can now advance to meet the criteria required for the Silver Achievement in Quality Award
