Windsor Care Centers Unveil New Video Series, “Windsor Stars, Shining a Spotlight on Caring”

Windsor skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers announced today the release of a new video series entitled, “Windsor Stars: Shining a Spotlight on Caring.” The series highlights exceptional caregivers who exemplify Windsor’s mission to enrich every life they touch by consistently delivering high-quality, personalized care, with dignity, compassion and integrity.

The “Windsor Stars” video series presents the stories of four caregivers representing four Windsor care centers in Southern California. To qualify for the video, all employees were required to have been employed at their care center for a minimum of 3 years, provide direct patient care, and have received an award or recognition for providing exceptional nursing or rehabilitation care.

The four employees are:

  • Edith Rodriguez, RNA, at Windsor Terrace Healthcare Center
  • Joseph Guerrea, RNA, at Windsor Care Center of Cheviot Hills
  • Miguel Ceuvas, LVN, at Windsor Convalescent Center of Long Beach
  • Sully Acuna, ADSD, at Windsor Convalescent Center of Los Angeles

“We are extremely proud of these four caregivers,” says Tim Lehner, Senior Vice President of Operations. “These individuals exemplify everything that is great about Windsor. They deserve to be featured in this video series and we hope they will inspire others to reach their greatest level of care.”

The next four Windsor Stars videos are already in production and the next series will focus on caregivers based in Northern California.

 

Windsor Care Centers Acquire Evergreen Arvin Healthcare and Evergreen Bakersfield Post-Acute Care

February 9, 2018 – Los Angeles, CA – Windsor care centers announced today the addition of two skilled nursing and post-acute care centers to their California portfolio. Windsor acquired Evergreen Arvin Healthcare and Evergreen Bakersfield Post-Acute Care centers from EmpRes Healthcare Management.

With the addition of the two new locations, Windsor expands its skilled nursing and sub-acute healthcare services to Bakersfield and surrounding communities in Kern County, a new region for its’ California operations.

“We are very excited about the prospect of providing Windsor’s experienced and dedicated healthcare services to the Bakersfield communities,” says Tim Lehner, Senior Vice President of Operations. “With the acquisition of Evergreen Arvin and Evergreen Bakersfield, thousands of residents and families will now have access to Windsor’s industry-leading skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.”

Evergreen Arvin is an 81-bed skilled nursing facility and Evergreen Bakersfield is a 99-bed post-acute care center. The addition of the two care facilities brings the count of Windsor’s skilled nursing and assisted living care centers throughout California and Arizona to 37.
