Windsor Gardens Acute Care Facility - Van Nuys
"After visiting several facilities, we went to Windsor Gardens and were struck by the warmth and receptiveness of the staff. My brother and I decided immediately that this was the only choice we could make."

In October of 2005, I came home one evening to find that my Mother had suffered a massive stroke. After five days in the hospital, we were told that she had to be placed in an acute care facility, most likely for the rest of her life. This is an extremely difficult decision to make as your concern for the care of your loved one outweighs all else. After visiting several facilities, we went to Windsor Gardens and were struck by the warmth and receptiveness of the staff. My brother and I decided immediately that this was the only choice we could make. After a short period of time, my Mother was placed on hospice care. The Windsor staff worked closely with the hospice workers to insure that my Mother was comfortable and peaceful during those last weeks. I believe that Windsor Gardens and the compassion of their staff made a difficult, emotional time, bearable.

Mother loved being at Windsor Court and thanked us daily for finding such a caring and wonderful facility. Heart felt thanks." Nina & Roland Haskell |
