Recognized as a leader in rehabilitation, Windsor’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers partner with physical, occupational and speech therapists who are dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of independent functioning. By collaborating with physicians and utilizing the latest equipment and techniques within a supportive atmosphere, Windsor implements comprehensive, multi-tiered and customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each resident’s specific needs and goals.
Windsor’s ultimate goal is to safely return residents to their homes, or other appropriate living arrangements, as soon as possible. While residents’ therapy schedules are prescribed by their physicians, and Windsor’s therapists are on duty six to seven days per week, residents’ progress is generally determined by how much work they are able to accomplish in each session. Once rehabilitation goals have been achieved, Windsor then provides safe discharge planning and caregiver training to support a resident’s continued success.
